Introduce yourself and your business. How long have you been involved with eBay?

I started dabbeling here and there on eBay in December of 2001. I started buying items and selling a few of my own that I no longer wanted. I loved it so much that I decided to turn it into my full time job.... and believe me, it is a full time job! It's easy to do what you love and cloting is what I love! Since I had decided to knuckle down and do this full time I jumped in with both feet and learned all I could to make my eBay auctions sucessful.

What type of products do you sell? How did you decide on these products?

I sell women's clothing such as dresses, shirts, jeans, plus sizes, etc.  I love clothing and shopping so this was a natural choice for me.

How hard was it for you to become a power seller on eBay? How long did it take you?

It wasn't hard at all once I knew what i was doing.  Just 3 months after I went full time, I became a powerseller. and 3 months later I was a Gold Powerseller.

There are many programs to help selling on eBay. Which software tools do you use and why?

I use infrog as my image host and auction scheduling tool.  It is cost effective and a real time saver.

What is the biggest mistake you think people make on eBay?

The biggest mistake people make is listing before doing any research on what their item could and should sell for.

What advice would you give to someone starting an online business with eBay?

The best advice I can give is to learn everything you can about the category you are selling in BEFORE you start selling. Check out ended auctions for similar products to see what prices they startat and where they end.  Each different category on ebay requires a different listing strategy and this can sometimes take a while to figure out.

What’s your favourite method of generating traffic to your eBay auctions?

I use the featured first listing upgrade to get traffic to my store.

Do you have any big plans for your eBay business in the near future?

I hope to expand into my own website and run both my ebay store and website successfully.
